GENERAL SUMMARY
Responsible for supporting the branch sales goals while overseeing all aspects of customer service levels and branch operational integrity. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Service & Sales Responsibilities
- Interact in an effective and professional manner with all levels of bank personnel, corporate and bank clients demonstrating commitment to quality and extraordinary customer service.
- Ensure staff are actively profiling customers during new account and teller transaction process to identify cross sell opportunities to meet customer needs/requirements.
- Responsible for developing and tracking individual performance goals. Develop coaching and mentoring process for staff to ensure their performance meets bank customer service, sales, and operational requirements.
- Establish and manage achievement of assigned team and individual sales production goals.
- Collaborate with Branch Manager / Relationship Manager in support of prospect and customer calls to develop customer onboarding plan, including set-up of products and services.
- Support business development colleagues, and perform marketing activities as needed in efforts to achieve branch growth and profitability goals.
- May register as MLO (Mortgage Loan Originator)- based on branch/market needs, to support loan inquiries, interview loan applicants, and assist with loan related functions.
- Represent the bank by actively participating in outside civic/community affairs, business/ industry-related organizations and other professional activities as appropriate.
Operations, Management & Administration Responsibilities
- Direct the operations functions of the branch. This encompasses the full knowledge of branch functions which include- new accounts, teller operations and safe box. The incumbent acts as the resident expert on procedural, risk and regulatory functions within the branch.
- Ensure that the branch consistently complies with all bank policies/procedures, banking regulations and meets satisfactory audit rating. Implement appropriate controls and oversight for any identified deficiencies.
- Ensure sound operating conditions are maintained in the branch by utilizing the daily and monthly operational and reporting reviews along with completion of required branch certifications.
- Perform staffing evaluation to ensure appropriate levels of staffing and skill sets in support of customer service requirements. Work with Branch Manager and Regional management on effective staff deployment and utilization.
- Ensure performance reviews/evaluations of the branch’s non-officer staff and officers as assigned, are completed timely, objectively and with proper emphasis on individual development, coaching skills, customer service skills and sales/referral activities.
- Recommend hires, transfers, terminations, salary adjustments, performance standards and reviews. Approve employee daily time records, work assignments, vacations, sick pay, etc.
- May serve as Safety and/or Security Officer for the branch.
Minimum qualifications/requirements:
- College degree a plus.
- Three to five years’ experience in a similar capacity with management/supervisory responsibilities. Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of branch service functions. Thorough knowledge of bank policies and procedures.
- General knowledge of complex support systems, branch efficiency and productivity, and personnel policies and procedures. Direct sales experience desired. Computer experience (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
- Good management skills with emphasis on planning, organization and scheduling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bi-lingual English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) preferred.

GENERAL SUMMARY

- Together with the Branch Manager, develop, negotiate and recommend sales goals for department/branch; set individual sales goals for staff, and monitor performance. Monitor risk areas in sales process.

- Provide quality personalized customer service. Maintain frequent customer contact to expand relationships and ensure customer retention.
- Call on existing, new and, and prospective customers.
- Sell all retail Bank products. Coach Financial Service Representatives to expand relationships with existing and prospective customers; develop new business through in-branch selling, telemarketing, direct mailings and outside calls.
- Maintain open communication with Bank sales department, Financial Consultants, Lenders, etc. Identify sales opportunities and make referrals as appropriate.
- Provide and/or obtain products and sales training for all branch staff.
- Develop and implement the branch’s telemarketing efforts. Tracks results and follow-up as appropriate.
- Participate in the preparation of assigned portion of branch budget. Monitor income and expense categories in the FSR’s area of responsibility.
- Act as liaison between the branch and the Retail Loan Department, and oversee FSRs as they assist customers with completing loan & credit card applications and signing loan documents for retail loan products.
- Train FSRs to review legal documents, create legal files & maintain an effective & efficient filing system
- Maintain an awareness of competitive products, practices, rates and changes for the local market.
- Represent the Bank in civic/community affairs, as appropriate.
Minimum qualifications/requirements:
- College degree preferred but not required
- 3 to 5 years retail banking experience with an emphasis on sales and business development a plus
- Self-motivated, driven, enthusiastic personality. Knowledgeable of all retail bank products and services and able to independently execute documents.
- Thorough knowledge of related compliance and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills. Detail oriented, good verbal and written communication skills.

GENERAL SUMMARY
Under some supervision and following established policies and branch procedures, proactively provide customer assistance including the following functional duties:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Perform all aspects of new account opening procedures for all retail bank products.

Equity Research Internship Position
Unpaid internship with the equity research team of an emerging research firm. The position does not sponsor working visa but managers can provide good referral letters.
Responsibilities
5-10 hours of work each week. Can work from home. Now through this September.
- Aggregate information from public resources (investor presentations, filings, WSJ, Barron’s, Fortune, etc) at the instruction of managing principals to support investment thesis of stock ideas.
- Summarize third-party research materials and develop main thesis points behind long or shorting a stock.
- Review 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and 8-Ks for due diligence purposes.
- Communicate with investor relations team at the company to verify key facts critical to long/short thesis.
